Eye 4 Events had the pleasure of joining longtime friends Jasmin and Nicolas Traill in Wailea, Maui on September 5, 2016 for their wedding at Po’olenalena Beach that was graced by the warm sunset. The couple opted for a small intimate traditional Hawaiian Ceremony with their closest family and friends and requested for the guests to wear one of the following colors: navy blue, grey, or blush pink. The photographer, Ajja of Karma Hill Photography did an amazing job of capturing the guests along the serene shore -which was perfect for any family portrait! The reception followed the ceremony at Gannon’s Restaurant right up the hill from the beach with breathtaking views of the ocean.

How they met:

Jasmin and Nicolas met while attending Deer Valley High School in Antioch, California. They both had Biology together where Jasmin sat in front of Nic. Every day once Jasmin would get home she would find Lemon Heads in her hoodie. According to Nic that was his way of making Jasmin remember him while she was at home.

The Proposal:

For Jasmin’s birthday they had a late dinner at Alexander Steak House San Francisco. Nic begin to ask Jasmin questions regarding relationships and marriage. Soon after he asked if this was what she wanted forever and as you all know she said YES!

The Wedding Dress:

The gown originally had the option of having straps for the arms, but she opted to have them removed. One of the straps was used as a belt to complement the dress -while the other was used to be placed around her wedding vows as she walked down the aisle. Jasmin opted to wear a sweetheart dress because she simply fell in love with it!

First dance….

First Dance: Chrisette Michele ” A Couple of Forevers” – This was a beautiful moment shared with the bride and groom. Jasmin sung to Nic while they danced together as Mr. & Mrs. Traill!
